Kimmy Gets a Job! Second Verse Same as The First

"I just texted Julian's assistant Rhonda, don't worry fat."

Kimmy Gets a Job

In the beginning she's talking to hersself as she walks to try and get her nanny job back.
The maid says "There's a girl here who looks like Wendy's Old Fashioned Hamburgers."

She gives her a second chance thanks to a lack of pride.

In a flash back she made a scarf from her hair and Donna Marie's hair.

She visits the robot and tells him to quit. He tried to stage his own version of the Lion King holding a cat.

Ms. Voorhes step daughter was drinking and she wants Kimmy to ground her. The superhero party decor Kimmy used was not good for her.

Horatio Sanz is on the bus with the robot so they figure out the costume guy is scamming him. No one got their deposit back. There's a Hello Kitty, Cookie Monster, and a lot of dressed up individuals.

Back in the shelter she turned the mystery crank. (hilarious) she had no clue why.

Voorhes is dressed like a flight attendent, but her husband isn't coming to the birthday party because he hasn't left London.

All the costumes show up and tell the costume guy to give back the deposits or he will be sued for renting the costumes.

Voorhes blames Kimmy for her husband not coming home and grabs a hand full of cake. Kimmy wants to quit.

Kimmy figures out that the step daughter was telling lies from the BabySitter's Club. She also let Buckley hit Iron Man with a baseball bat.

Julian (the husband) was gone for 2 months. Mrs. Vorhees says her husband is cheating on her and she wants her to spoon her. She does and counts to 10 over and over.

I still like the show! Quirky and fun!

Kimmy Goes Outside - Review Recap of Episode One

Episode One - Kimmy Goes Outside

The beginning new story is auto-tuned into a fun news story in true YouTube fashion. Matt Lauer has them on the show and calls them The India Mole Women.

"It's like Reverend Richard always says we're just garbage."

It is sad that the reverend told them there was no Earth it had all been burned away. She has a third grade education and doesn't understand running water or pretty much how anything works.

"Is that your reverend, dd he peel your face?"

Her first trip out is kind of like Buddy the Elf's trip out in NYC.

She lets a horse go and sees a kid stealing and confronts him. A rich lady hires Kimmy as a nanny. She introduces her to Buckley's tutor and says he'll help you do Buckley's homework.

"What in the ham sandwich I just got a job."

Her roommate is hilarious and she asks him to go out to the club from Moesha. Her backpack gets taken with all the money she had in it, which I'm not sure why she didn't leave it at the apartment.

Her landlord says "Hey, walk of shame, me too, just sat down."

Her roommate tells her she needs to go home when he finds out she's one of the India mole women.

"I'm pretty but tough like a diamond or beef jerky in a ball gown."

There's a flashback to when she was still in the bunker. The reverend tells them that everything died, and she found a rat and asked the reverend how it was still alive and he says he will break her, but she says he won't.

The end of this episode she finds Titus and they sing the Circle of Life in the middle of the city where he was giving away flyers. I think this was a delightful pilot and I laughed several times. So far, so good!

Kimmy Schmidt Makes me Blog Again!

If you know me, you know I have a tendency to start blogs for things I think I'm going to like. It's fun for me, I had a True Blood blog from the beginning that actually had a lot of readers. Then there was the ill-fated Friends with Better Lives blog. I really enjoyed that show, but it didn't last that long. There was also the hope that How I met Your Dad would take off, you know it didn't! So it's time for me to move on and with a show I feel will have better writers. (sorry anyone I offended just now, sort of)

RIP FWBL and HIMYD

Things that make This a Potential Winner

  • Tina Fey and Robert Carlock are the creators
  • It's streaming on Netflix giving it a lot more freedom.
  • Ellie Kemper is the lead character who escapes from a doomsday cult.
  • Jane Krakowski is in it!

There is just so much potential.

I have high hopes for this show. I am excited there's already a two-season order so I know I will at least have two seasons to blog about it. Stay tuned for my thoughts on the first episode and all the fun that comes with it.
